Growing Through Changes: Three Things to Expect in Nymbl’s Set-Up Process

There are a lot of white-knuckle moments that come with owning & managing a business: dealing with conflicts of opinions within teams, trying to predict the impact of economic conditions on supply chains (yikes), or weighing the pros and cons of utilizing new and evolving technology in your workflows. (I’m looking at you, AI bots.)

Change, being a common thread here, is inevitable. While big changes to your business can feel indomitable, you’ll find that embracing changes can lead to a better, more efficient business when you have the right support behind you.

If you’ve considered moving your business management onto Nymbl Systems, we want to provide clarity on what you can expect from us amid a major change in your business. After all, there’s no better place to be than on the same page!

1:1 Relationships

If you’ve already gotten a demo of Nymbl Systems from one of our Business Development Representatives (BDRs), you know that we focus on getting to know your business workflows, set-up, and size from the get-go. This way, we can guide you towards specific features that are useful to you.

You’ll also gain a good understanding of Nymbl’s most popular features, like setting up custom forms and workflow checklists, or using scheduling integrations. We’re here to answer any questions you have while you’re exploring all there is to know about Nymbl.

Haven't demo'ed Nymbl Systems yet? Explore the features or schedule a demo today!

The best part? When you’re ready to sign with Nymbl Systems and get set up (AKA: go through implementation and training), you’ll be matched with one trainer that’s with you through every step of the process; from learning the software to setting up your claims.

We Get to the Point

Once you’ve signed on the dotted line, the changes will come fast – but always on your schedule! Your trainer will work with you to establish five times you are available to complete the trainings covering the following areas in Nymbl Systems:

  • Session 1: Nymbl Basics – Introductions, Log In, Navigation, Adding a Patient, Patient Charts, and Scheduling
  • Session 2: Nymbl Flows – Work in Progress (WIP), Tasks, and Messaging
  • Session 3: Nymbl Maintenance – Adding Templates, Work Schedules, Admin
  • Session 4: Nymbl Billing – Generating and Sending Claims, Applying Payments
  • Session 5: More Nymbl Features – Purchasing & Inventory, Questionnaire, CRM, and Reporting

After each session, you’ll get a recap email of everything that was covered and a link to your training recording.

Beyond the training and implementation sessions, we’ll also help you work through sending your first test claim, help you post your first payments, and provide templates for you to import your existing data into Nymbl Systems with ease.

Thanks to our intuitive interface, most customers are able to easily navigate in Nymbl Systems even before the training sessions are completed. Plus, with each training session only taking about 1.5 hours to complete, you’ll be on your feet in no time.

Collaborative Change

Part of the beauty of Nymbl’s implementation process is knowing that no two businesses will use our software in exactly the same way. There’s an art to the workflows your business has established.

But implementing new software can and should mean that you get to update your current workflows and get more visibility, better tracking, and greater efficiency from them.

Even after your training is complete, our support will stick with you to lend advice and consult on how you can reimagine workflows and make the most of Nymbl’s features so you get back more of your most precious asset – time.

Business Intelligence (BI) platform offerings are no longer a niche set of database management tools requiring deep, technical skills. The field has expanded into a competitive marketplace of solutions – businesses now self-select for their specific needs. The result of this healthy competition? Access to data and BI tools is no longer a luxury – it’s an expectation. This has elevated data’s role in strategic planning. For healthcare providers, data allows them insight into optimizing care delivery, enhancing patient experiences, and projecting trends to ensure financial health. Visualizing vast amounts of data is now incredibly accessible, making critical information readily available for informed decision-making. Instead of holding access to data hostage, Nymbl Systems puts your data to work for you. At Nymbl, our BI offerings to customers fall into two categories: “canned” dashboards and customizable, ad-hoc analysis dashboards.

Nymbl Systems has partnered with the Limb Loss and Preservation Registry (LLPR) to make data collection and submission easier for O&P practices that participate in the effort. An automation within Nymbl’s software allows the transfer of LLPR-collected fields from practices to the database without any additional effort on a practitioner’s part. How it Works When an O&P practice using Nymbl Systems decides to participate with the LLPR, their first step is to contact the Nymbl Customer Support team. Then, Nymbl ‘flips a switch’ on their end and begins transmitting data from that practice to the LLPR data base. Users of Nymbl will be able to easily identify any fields transmitted to the LLPR from the business management platform; these fields are marked by a tooltip icon. “The information is automatically sent as employees and practitioners go about their daily routines,” Josh Lau, CEO of Nymbl Systems, said. “It’s designed to be seamless and eliminate any barriers for practices who want to contribute to this incredibly important effort.”

It’s hard to help others outside a niche industry “get” what you do. Even with an invested interest on both ends, an understanding can be challenging to reach. This is something that feels especially relevant given the latest updates in Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services’ (CMS) coverage of Seat Elevation systems. See how Nymbl gets you.

Using an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software system is a non-negotiable in the tool belt of healthcare providers today. But, finding the right software that has adapted to the Home Medical Equipment (HME) market is a challenge – one that is only surpassed by the challenge of actually implementing a new-to-you EMR system.

In the realm of DME (Durable Medical Equipment) billing and O&P (Orthotics and Prosthetics) billing, the role of clearing houses is a pivotal link between providers and insurance payers. Clearing houses, such as Waystar, are key players in smoothing the path of revenue cycle management. Let’s dive into the role of clearing houses, the services they offer, and how they integrate with EMRs.

Many practitioners like to joke that insurance payers are more often in the business of denying claims than paying them… and from my point of view, they have a point. To maintain a stable stream of payments, you need a reliable system to help double, and triple check your work.

The significance of this act for orthotists, prosthetists, and their patients cannot be overstated – it represents a monumental shift towards patient-centered care and a statutory and regulatory separation of O&P from the umbrella of DME, allowing for more appropriate regulation in the future.

In the rapidly evolving landscape of home medical equipment (HME) providers, business leaders are increasingly confronted with a trio of challenges: navigating complex payer rules for claims, managing high turnover rates among billing specialists, and grappling with complicated software solutions that impede rather than enhance operational efficiency.

Nymbl Systems is poised to revolutionize the Home Medical Equipment (HME) industry with the unveiling of its intuitive software solutions at Medtrade 2024.
