Reaching an Understanding: Five Ways Nymbl Keeps ATPs Mobile and Moving Forward

April 23, 2024

It’s hard to help others outside a niche industry “get” what you do. Both parties in the conversation need to be heavily invested to resolve misunderstandings and assumptions. And even with an investment on both ends, a resolution can be challenging to reach. This is something that feels especially relevant given the latest updates in Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services’ (CMS) coverage of Seat Elevation systems.

Wayne Grau, Executive Director of NCART , undertook great efforts to comment on and recommend an extension to the February 15 proposal by CMS. His proposal recommended to include mobility-related activities of daily living (MRADLs) as a justification for Seat Elevation systems to be covered. Thanks to his work at NCART, the policy has been updated, and since been made effective, to include this provision. That’s not to say the work is done.

“NCART is very disappointed with the final decision, and we have contacted CMS to meet and discuss this issue. The information we have gathered does not support the final payment level. We are also coordinating our efforts with the ITEM Coalition, which submitted the NCD request. The ITEM Coalition and NCART have concerns that at this payment level, some consumers may be denied access to this incredible product,” NCART shared in a March 2024 newsletter

Complex Rehab Therapy (CRT) is a field that requires a deep understanding of complex issues. That’s why Nymbl Systems is proud to be a business management partner for many CRT businesses – we know what it takes for you to make it. You don’t have to go to “battle” alone! You can have a partner that gets you and your business goals.

Need to see the proof? Explore these five ways that Nymbl Systems helps ATPs stay efficient and mobile while they advocate for the mobility of others.

We Think You’ll Love These Features

As a partner of  U.S. Rehab, Nymbl has been able to work directly with ATPs and owners to find better business management solutions in complex rehab. Check out a few of our users' favorite features found in Nymbl Systems:

  1. Access Anywhere . Nymbl’s business management software is fully accessible from mobile devices – smartphones, laptops, and tablets alike. (Although, we’d recommend a tablet or laptop for... *ahem* practical reasons.) That means when you’re in the field, so are your tools. A carpenter wouldn’t expect their chisel to do the same job as a chainsaw. So why expect a pen and paper or notes app to take the place of your management system, just so you have to re-key an order when you’re back in the office?
  2. Seamless Navigation. I mean, sheesh , have you seen some of the user interfaces on business management tools out there? Not every software is designed equally. But Nymbl Systems’ interface is designed thoughtfully. Navigation is straightforward in our platform. We even had one user start working in Nymbl before their formal training. (Which only happens to take about eight hours to complete!)
  3. Integrated Order Processing. What if you could count on one chore always being done for you when you got home? Cleaning the car, doing laundry, washing the dishes... that’s how you likely feel about data entry. It’s important, but you wish you could avoid it altogether. With Nymbl, you can avoid it. Just upload your XML purchase orders and allow our software to map the order fields into our system for you.
  4. Loaner/Rental Tracking . Never lose track of your loaner equipment. Manage your loaner fleet with Nymbl, check out items to patients, track loaner periods, and easily update the status of your loaner devices in one place.
  5. Billing Cycle Integrations. Nymbl offers revenue cycle management services to help you get claims processed and paid faster. Our RCM experts make the process of getting claims paid incredibly simple. It’s a service that makes Nymbl the perfect partner for back-end billing and front-end workflows alike.

So, if you’re ready to have a partner who has your back and is invested in helping you navigate the complexities of CRT together, it’s time to get to know Nymbl.
